Fancy disconnecting for a couple of days and discovering a destination with history, good food and plenty of charm? Then Calatayud is going to surprise you. And so you can enjoy it to the full, we've put together a 48-hour itinerary designed to make sure you don't miss a thing.
Day 1: history, culture and charming walks
Start the day with energy and take your time to stroll through the historic centre. We recommend visiting:
The Collegiate Church of Santa Maríaa jewel of Aragonese Mudéjar architecture. Its tower and cloister will leave you speechless.
The Main Castlehead to the top of the city and enjoy the views. It's ideal for taking photos.
The Jewish quarter and the streets of the old townget lost without any hurry, you'll see corners full of history.
As evening begins to fall, head back to the centre and relax with a good dinner in our restaurant. We focus on homemade dishes and local produce. The roast lamb is a sure-fire winner!
Day 2: nature, relaxation and good food
For the second day, we suggest a slightly more relaxed plan. You can choose between:
A walk through the Parque de la Serna, perfect for switching off.
A break at the Monasterio de Piedra, if you fancy surrounding yourself with nature and waterfalls.
A morning at the Paracuellos Spa, if you're looking for a bit of relaxation with thermal springs.
Before you leave, we look forward to seeing you at the hotel restaurant to put the finishing touch to your break with a good lunch.
